GUN FOR GLORY SHOOTING ACADEMY
Gun for Glory is the first international world class shooting academy in India initiated under the aegis of Gagan Narang Sports Promotion Foundation(“Non Profit Organisation U/S 25c of the Companies Act”).
It is an initiative by Khel Ratna Awardee, Padmashri Gagan Narang & Indian Shooting Team Coach Pawan Singh, supported by 3 times National award winner for best actor in hindi cinema Nana Patekar to promote shooting sport. Gun For Glory’s star line up also include the Best Athlete of 2006 Commonwealth Games, Samresh Jung and young shooting sensation Ronak Pandit. Samresh and Ronak are Directors (C) of the academy.
The meticulously designed world class academy is situated at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports complex in Balewadi, Pune. The complex provides world class infrastructure that is required to prepare a shooter to meet the modern day challenges. The academy prides itself in providing all tools to build a champion.
It has brought together a bevy of foreign Coaches, a foreign Grip Maker, Sports Injury Management Team, Physiotherapist, Yoga Guru, Dietician, Masseur, Gun testing facility, SCATT shooting simulators, Video analysers, Equipment control & Psychologists. The customised training plans are designed by our eminent foreign coaches on the basis of SWOT analysis.
The courses also offer shooters Gun testing facility (Testing each barrel & selecting best pellet for particular barrel), peak performance management, a link up with an educational institution and residential tie- up.
